Final Fantasy V has received modifications by many hackers, changing the Job system, the battle system, the weapons, and aspects of the game’s graphics in various ways. Bringing many of these mods and hacks together under one game-changing dashboard would provide fans of this game with a lot of possibilities for combining them in many ways. These notes are a path towards this dashboard concept, a website that can apply combinations of mods to the game’s ROM.

Component hacks and mods of this game are the goal of this project. Some excellent candidates for inclusion are listed here:

FF5 Mods Review

RoSoDude’s work also belongs here, as he’s made deep improvements to how the Berserker job works in battle, and to the flow off the battle system’s ATB logic overall.

Graphics mods such as Cubear’s epic “Dress Code” and my own “Unchibi Krile” and minor map sprite tweaks (Green Coat Galuf, Pantz & Sleeves, Alt Cid) make sense as core options.

Bartz & Lenna, Pantz n Sleeves.ips

Galuf Green Coat map sprite.ips

Providing these will hopefully inspire more sprite mods for this game. My friend Nicoc1991 has created many alternate FFV battle sprites and those would be excellent to offer in this FFV Kit app, too.

Options to change the 2 fonts used in the game appeals to me, and several already exist.
